Ruff Club

This is just a rough mock up of what I have been thinking about for a single space mixer. It's 6 channels, each with voltage controlled and manual level and panning. There is a stereo, unity gain expansion input and a mono output. A mute switch on each channel. The 3 channels to the left pan right with higher voltage and the 3 channels to the right do the reverse. Panning is equal powered, so there is no dead zone in the middle. I think it fits the bill.

what I would love to see in a mixer like this is a mute buss that could power headphones: any input that was muted would came out the mute buss output. This would allow for previewing something before it got brought into the mix.

Space wise, I'm not sure this would fit without killing the mono output, though.

Very nice design - I agree that a headphone output would be nice for those wanting to use it as a system monitor.

I'd take one :)

Hi, mark I'm francesco, whom talked about the convenience of the compactness of the mixer, on 200e's yahoo group. Great work, really, for all your blog here

Cool, i'd call it "spatial adjustment" or even "spatial distribution" instead of panorama.

Having the 123 left & 456 right panning default is a fitting homage to the 206.
