Holding Pattern
As I wait for my silkscreen guy to come back into town and the rest of the back-ordered parts to arrive, I give you a picture of a 258 clone with no front panel legend.

The chronicles of one man's experience building, repairing, cloning and adding to the Buchla Electric Music Box. A manifesto of a very specific obsession.

Mmm... knobby...
sweet!
Another urban legend.
looking good..and this can also fit the 200e style knobs?
I really like these old style knobs for this module.
I love the way the Buchla system has modules that are often pretty different from each other physically. Anything that make a module unique enough to be able to reach for it without really looking at it is OK by me.
When I look at a Wiard system (for example), I see some Buchla circuit inspiration, but none of the Buchla spark for user interface.
yeah, those are D shafts underneath. Selco knobs could go on there just as well, if they ever return my quote request....
looks great mark!
Beautiful work!
